Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your treatment

  • Please double-check your address and confirm you have booked the correct treatment.
  • Ensure there is enough space for a massage table (approximately 2m x 3m) with room to move around.
  • Choose a comfortable room that is easy to access and warm enough for treatment.
  • Prepare two large towels and one small towel for the headrest.
  • If possible, take a shower beforehand to help relax the muscles.
  • You may also wish to mention any health conditions, allergies, parking instructions, or building access details before the appointment.

  • I will ask where you would like the massage table set up.
  • You will be given complete privacy to get comfortable before the session begins.
  • All treatments are strictly professional and non-sexual.
  • Underwear should remain on throughout the session.
  • I operate a zero-tolerance policy toward inappropriate behaviour.

Your booking time includes the full session from set-up to pack-down.

For example, during a 60-minute appointment:

  • First 5-10 minutes: consultation, hygiene preparation, and table set-up.
  • Main session: hands-on treatment.
  • Final 5-10 minutes: aftercare advice, cleaning, and equipment pack-down.

Occasionally you may receive slightly more hands-on time depending on the schedule that day.

It is normal to feel slightly sore after a deep tissue or sports massage. This should settle within a few days.

Sports & Deep Tissue Massage
  • Allow your body time to rest.
  • Avoid intense exercise for the rest of the day.
  • Continue with any stretches that were recommended.
  • Heat or ice may help if soreness occurs.
Relaxation Treatments
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine for a few hours.
  • Allow time to relax afterwards.

I aim to arrive at your scheduled booking time and may occasionally arrive a few minutes early to prepare the treatment area.

If there are any travel delays, I will contact you as soon as possible and keep you updated.

If you are running late, please contact Tom as soon as possible.

Your session may need to be shortened if another appointment is scheduled afterwards.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking to avoid waiting time and disruption to other clients.

I offer appointments Monday to Friday, between 10:00am and 10:00pm.

Evening appointments are available, but I recommend booking in advance as these are the most popular times.
